BOOK CARE AND HANDLING TIPS (2)

clip_image001 Treat library materials with respect. Marking text, cutting out plates or photos, tearing out pages or outright theft of library materials all damage the collection and waste time and money on repairs and replacement.

Keep food and drink away from library materials. Spills and stains permanently damage books, which often require costly replacement. Food also attracts insects and rodents that eat paper and bindings. clip_image001[4]
